Information for Form 6 parents

Communication

Every child in Form 6 has a diary which makes it easy to transfer messages to and from home. Pupils are asked to show their Form or Subject teachers any messages from home. This is part of their development to take charge of their learning. A written reply or staff's initials will indicate if the message has been received. 

Daily school requirements

Each child needs an overall for art lessons. A small snack consisting of a piece of fruit and a drink may be brought for morning break. Water bottles are allowed in the classroom and a water fountain is provided.

All pupils will require their own pencils and ink or gel pens, no biros please. The School stationery shop is open on Friday break times.

All items of clothing must be named to help prefects & staff return them to owner. This includes socks and shoes. Items that are not named cannot be guaranteed to be returned.

Monday

• Swimming: towel, regulation swimming costume, armbands (ready and blown up if needed), and a swimming hat in the House colour.

Wednesday

• Games: Games kit – tracksuit and trainers in games bag (available from school office). See Uniform list for kit as boys and girls differs

Thursday

• Gym: House T-shirt, blue shorts, white socks and plimsolls in draw string navy bag (available from school office).

Friday

• Music Lessons: Recorder lessons take place during the day, so instruments and music are needed. Please ask in the school office if your child requires lessons
• Orchestra Rehearsal: members will need music and instrumentsss
