CONGRATULATIONS to the 2010 ROCK CHALLENGE TEAM!
At the Junior Rock Challenge competition on Saturday 6th March the team were awarded:
• Hampshire Country Council Award for Choreography
• 4th Place in the Be Your Best Junior Rock Challenge competition on the day
This was a fantastic achievement and the whole team should be amazingly proud of themselves. The team work they showed on the day putting everything into the workshops as well as the performance is a credit to them. They were a pleasure to be with.
Thanks go to all the Stage Crew, Makeup Team and Lighting Team who worked behind the scenes to make the performance happen.
A special Thank You to the staff, without them the day would not be able to happen.
This is what the pupils said about the day:
Naomi: Today was good. I liked the dance workshop, but the performance was the best part. I really enjoyed it.
Lauren: I enjoyed it all, but the best bit was the Fire Safety workshop because we got to use the remote buttons to answer questions. The supermarket scene was the best part of the performance. We did really well coming fourth.
Victor: It was a really good day. The production meeting was my best bit.
Jeevan: It was wicked! My best bit was all of it. I liked being a dog, but I did not like the make up.
Sanjiv: It was a really fun day. My favourite part was the drama workshop. My worst part was having to wear make-up.
Jordan: I liked the part where we got pizza best! When we did the performance itself it seemed almost like a rehearsal because I could not see the audience for all the lights.
Francesca: We came fourth! And we got the best choreography award! It was great. The cameraman had the camera on me all the time when I jumped into the ‘sea’.
