St. Winifred's School is an independent prep school, founded in 1880.

We are a small school with around 100 boys and girls between two and eleven years of age. The Early Years department (April House) is fully approved and can accommodate pupils receiving Nursery Grants.

Our family ethos and stimulating environment enables pupils to achieve their best through an up to date curriculum and enriched programme of study and opportunity.

The School offers a number of means tested bursaries.
