Below are some useful websites which the pupils might like to use to further practise their French:

Learn to speak French with Roller and his mates on the BBC Schools French website.

Languages online
An excellent range of activities for primary French. There is the odd reference to crocodiles that is seems unusual, but it is an Australian website! Many of the activities are great fun. Visit the Languages online French website. |

Quizlet
Offering lots of quizzes and exercises to help you learn new words and practise vocabulary. You can set the site so that you learn from the flashcards, or do exercises under “learn” and “test”, or play games (“Scatter” and “Space Race”)!

The BBC has superb materials for language learning online. Many of them are aimed at older learners, but are still useful at primary level, such as this video course for beginners. |
