FOOD AND NUTRITION

Home Economics is a compulsory subject for all pupils in Years 7 - 9. The main aim is to introduce pupils to the enjoyment of food with an emphasis on safety, hygiene and healthy living.

The course is designed to equip pupils with good basic cooking skills whilst also encouraging them to use investigative techniques throughout the study of food.
