Methods of Entry

Year 7 entry

Parents who wish to enrol pupils for entry to Year 7 (normally in September of each year) may do so by completing a registration form available from the school.  Pupils wishing to qualify for these will be required to take a written examination early in each Spring term.

The School offers a number of academic, art and music scholarships together with means tested bursaries.

Pupils may join the School at times other than in September, subject to the availability of places.

Entry into Years 8 to 11

Parents who wish to enrol pupils for entry to Years 8 to 11 may do so by completing a registration form, available from the school.

Pupils will be required to undertake written tests in core subjects to ensure that they are placed in the appropriate sets when joining the School.

Entry into these years may be at other times during the year, subject to the availability of places.
